2025 Annual Report
Strengthening Systems, Transforming Lives
The 2025 PSHAN Annual Report documents a year of measurable progress in closing critical gaps in Nigeria’s primary healthcare system. Through private sector innovation, strategic partnerships, and sustained policy advocacy, this report shows how targeted investment translates into real outcomes: better facilities, stronger communities, and improved health for women, children, and underserved populations across Nigeria.
At a time when foreign donor withdrawal placed unprecedented pressure on Nigeria’s health system, the private sector stepped forward. PSHAN deepened its collaborations with government agencies, development partners, and community stakeholders to ensure that progress did not stall and in many cases, accelerated. From revitalising primary healthcare centres to convening critical conversations on health financing, misinformation, and aid dependency, PSHAN’s work in 2025 reflects a sector taking ownership of Nigeria’s health future.
This report is for policymakers, development partners, private sector leaders, civil society organisations, and donors committed to building a more resilient, equitable, and sustainable health system in Nigeria.
