As the driving force behind the Nigerian Sustainable Banking Principles (NSBP), Omobolanle led the development of this groundbreaking framework. Notably, she was the sole West African representative on the global team that crafted the Global Principles for Responsible Banking, a framework released by the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI).

In 2020, serving as the Head of Sustainability at Access Bank, Omobolanle guided the bank to achieve the distinction of becoming the first Sustainability-Certified Commercial Bank in Africa under the Sustainability Standards and Certification Initiative (SSCI) pioneered by the European Organization for Sustainable Development.

Her groundbreaking contributions have earned her numerous accolades, including the Sustainability ICON of the Year 2021 at the Industry Summit Awards, the Most Outstanding Sustainability Professional of the Year in 2021 and 2020 from BrandCom, and the 2021 & 2020 Award for Outstanding Female Sustainability Professional of the Year from WIMCA. Additionally, she received the 2020 Top 50 Women in Marketing & Communications recognition, the 2019 Shenomics Award, and the Most Outstanding Sustainability Practitioner in Africa Award in 2017 and 2018 from the Sustainability, Enterprise, and Responsibility Awards (SERAs).

As a board member of the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria, and an executive member of the Access Women Network (AWN), Omobolanle passionately advocates for equitable healthcare for all Nigerians as well as youth and women empowerment.

Mary Iwelumo serves as a Partner at PwC’s Nigerian office, leveraging her extensive expertise in strategy formulation and management across both public and private sectors. With a professional history spanning over 15 years, she specializes in corporate, commercial, and functional strategic planning and articulation, institutional/entity design, market entry advisory, financial reviews, human capital advisory and planning, and business plan development. Her services are sought after by clients in the financial services, energy, manufacturing, and public sectors.

Within PwC, Mary takes the helm of the strategy team in the West Market Area, demonstrating her leadership and strategic prowess. Beyond her role, she actively contributes to the field as a prolific author and speaker, focusing on topics related to planning and governance in West Africa.

Mary holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and furthered her education with an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, USA. She is also a distinguished member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN)

Dr. Alero Ann-Roberts is a graduate of the Faculty of Science at the University of Lagos, holding a BSc Hons degree, and graduated from the College of Medicine of the University of Lagos with an MBBS in 1985. Completing an MPH in 2000, she subsequently joined the University of Lagos in the Department of Community Health and Primary Care within the Faculty of Clinical Sciences. Presently holding the position of Associate Professor and serving as an honorary consultant to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, her responsibilities encompass teaching, service delivery, and research.

Dr. Alero’s research endeavors have primarily centered around primary healthcare service delivery, child survival, childhood development, and early infant and young child nutrition. Taking on the role of coordinating Research Methodology courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, she also serves as the course coordinator for Research Methodology at the University of Lagos Business School.

Formerly, she held the position of the immediate past 2nd Vice Chairman of the Association of Public Health Physicians, Lagos State Chapter. Additionally, she serves as the Servicom Nodal Officer for the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, with a focus on ensuring the highest quality of service delivery for patients. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Dr. Alero has been actively engaged as a member of the Risk Communication Team, contributing to health education press briefings in Lagos State.

Ngozi Onyia graduated from the University of Ibadan in 1982 with a medical degree and later earned fellowship status from the West African College of Physicians in Paediatrics. Additionally, she holds the title of Travel Health Physician. Ngozi pursued executive education, completing the Lagos Business School EMBA 11 program. After accumulating 28 years of experience in both the public and private healthcare sectors in Nigeria, she transitioned to medical entrepreneurship.

During the years 2000 to 2010, Ngozi held a significant role as the Company Medical Adviser at Nigerian Breweries, a prominent blue-chip company. Subsequently, in 2010, she founded Paelon Memorial Hospital (PMH), a boutique, multispecialty hospital with three branches in Lagos. One notable accomplishment is the transformation of the Ikeja Branch into a government-approved private Covid treatment center in June 2020, positioning PMH at the forefront of the private healthcare response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The third branch of PMH operates as a comprehensive healthcare centre in Amai, Delta State, under a public-private partnership (PPP). Additionally, a day clinic situated in the VGC shopping mall, inaugurated on June 1, 2021, serves as the fourth branch of PMH. Ngozi Onyia’s journey from a seasoned medical professional to a medical entrepreneur has significantly contributed to the growth and impact of Paelon Memorial Hospital.
