The Digital Mom Project

The Digital Mom Project, has been launched by the Lagos Ministry of Health @lagoshealth , in collaboration with mDoc @mymdoc and supported by MSD for Mothers @msdformothers to enhance maternal health outcomes by utilizing technology that integrates quality improvement, behavioral science, and AI through web and mobile platforms.

Commending mDoc’s efforts, Ota Akhigbe, Head of Memberships and Partnerships at the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PSHAN), expressed that the project is a timely innovation poised to play a crucial role in delivering effective care to the most vulnerable members of society.

She also stated the relevance of the Digital Mom Project and how the gap it intends to bridge aligns with the goal of the Adopt-A-Healthcare-Facility Programme (ADHFP), PSHAN’s flagship initiative which aims to improve healthcare outcomes especially in rural areas by rehabilitating Primary Healthcare Centres across Nigeria’s 774 LGAs.
